Bridal Wear

Saree, an Indian wear makes a woman look graceful, stylish, elegant and sensuous. Tips on Draping a Saree:
• For an outing or a function, just pinup the tip of the saree and let the rest fall on your hand. This gives a
  very graceful look. But of course the Saree should have a good fall.
• Cotton, Tissue or any starched Sarees should be ironed properly and at the time of draping, the pleats
  should be done with your hands pressing and shaping it properly.
• Put the pin on the back shoulder as this keeps the saree intact and does not show the pin too.

Groom Wear

A similar transformation is taking place in the groom’s wear. you can have variations in fabrics and styles – you can have ghatcholas, tissue, bandhej. Different wedding outfits, sherwanis, jamawars and bandgalas can and heighten the mood for each occasion – from the bachelor’s bash to the grand reception. Jeans has always been the favourite in the fashion world. Jeans is available in different styles, cut and has become an all purpose wear.

Tips:
•  Three-piece suits are passe, so is dhoti-kurta. Four-piece suits are sherwani, kurta-pyjama and cape.
•  White in all its variety is a strict no-no. Peach, beige and khaki are the colours of the day.

Jewellery

Jewellery forms a vital part of any wedding. Gold is mandatory and an important pre requisite in Indian marriages. The choti is a hair ornament usually worn by royal families. Sarpech or kilangi are head ornaments. Karn-phul, the ear-flower is the most popular earring. The tying of the ‘mangalsutra’ by the groom around the neck of the bride and slipping the ‘wedding band’ in the finger of the bride are most important aspects of Indian weddings.

Tips:
•  Gold sets with enamel work or diamond sets would match with the red or pink jazzy outfits.
•  Pearls look good with blues and purple outfits.
•  Navratan sets generally look good with green.

Accessories

The accessories that you wear reflect your personality. They add that extra something to your personality. Choosing the right accessory is as important as choosing your clothes.
Shoes: The shoes that you wear give the very essence to your outfit. Right now platform-heeled shoes are very much in fashion. They come in chic geometrical cuts, which gives a very sexy look to formal dresses.
Bags: Crotchet bags or knitted bags look great. Cloth bags with bright colors and flowery patterns are also looks good.
